Agim Gjocaj aka Mass G started his first interest in electronic music back in 1990.His influence came from 1988 Heavy Metal and Rock Bands, at the age of 14 Mass G was playing in a band as drummer. He continued to develop his musical style and later he progress more in to dance music, funky techno and 90s acid, dub and electro house. He moved to London in 1995 and got deeply involved with DJing when he started spinning records of early acid and dub house.In Summer 1996 he met Matt Thomas the owner of the labels Arktik Records and Sketcha Traxx and since beginning 1997 he co-produce with Matt Thomas strong array tracks which have been released on Arktik Records and Sketcha Traxx & other Labels around the globe. During the upcoming years he gave great support to House scene and continued to create his own ambition towards his musical career. In the early days spinning records, Mass G was playing in various parties and clubs around London ,UK and abroad including Norway, Finland, Denmark, Kosovo, Austria , Germany, Poland, Sweden etc. Mass G is well known for his mixing skills on decks. He holds a residency at Popping@Propaganda. He played along side the hottest dance DJs around the London & UK scene. Late 2003 Mass G moved on with his music carrier. After travelling to his home town Pristina in Kosovo, Mass G found that tech house was his loving music and decided to set up his new fresh London dance tech house record label called Essential Beat Recordings. His talented production led him to establish him self over a year and half as hottest new up coming producer on tech house/house scene around the world. Releasing strong array tracks on Essential Beat and other various labels which has had great feedback from DJ Mag, IDJ International, German magazine Raveline and De Bug. His successful production took him to different charts and reviews from top DJs around the globe. Nominated on Swag Records in top tech house charts with all his array releases. As studying music producer Mass G graduated and was awarded one off the best student of music production. Currently Mass G is DJ touring around the world also producing music for his own label and other various labels as well, as co-producing music with other tech house Producers and DJs.
